The U.S. Army Installation Management Command-Pacific team celebrated two decades enabling U.S. Army readiness at U.S. Army Garrisons across the Pacific in a brief ceremony from IMCOM-Pacific Headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii on October 31, 2022.

During the event, IMCOM-Pacific’s Director, Craig Deatrick, and IMCOM-Pacific Command Sgt. Maj. Jon Williams signed a leadership pledge.

Reading from the pledge, Deatrick said “taking care of those who serve begins with taking care of our most valuable asset, our IMCOM professionals. IMCOM leaders will provide our team members the same concern, respect, and caring attitude that we expect them to share with our Soldiers, Families, Civilians and Retirees. We pledge to position you for success.”

Immediately following the signing of the leadership pledge, Deatrick and Williams cut a cake to commemorate the activation of the Pacific Region Office of Installation Management Agency on October 7, 2002, which eventually became IMCOM-Pacific.

Williams, who recently joined the IMCOM-Pacific team over the summer, took the opportunity to thank the team for their efforts.

“Thank you so much for what you do each and every day, we know that your purpose is about people.”

Following the ceremony, which was coincidentally held on Halloween, the local IMCOM-Pacific team enjoyed an anniversary potluck lunch while admiring the costumes of many of their teammates.

The ceremony was also broadcasted to the IMCOM-Pacific workforce via Microsoft Teams.
