    340th Flying Training Group

The 340th Flying Training Group held its fall Mandatory Unit Training Assembly (MUTA) at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, on Oct. 27-28, 2022.

To kick off the fall MUTA, Col. Kyle Goldstein, 340th FTG commander, thanked team members for their diligent efforts throughout the year. He also presented a review of the results of the latest climate survey, which collected feedback from more than 30 percent of unit members.

“In reviewing the latest survey results page-by-page, I confirmed my suspicions…this is a great place to work. People genuinely enjoy the people they work with; they feel accepted for who they are, and they find their contributions to the mission fulfilling. We are not perfect and have some areas we were just “average" in and we can work to improve those. I am thankful for all the comments and the high participation rate,” said Goldstein.

After the command team addressed topics of interest, briefers covered training on Tactical Casualty Combat Care, Sexual Assault Prevention Response/Suicide Prevention, Air Force Reserve Command Athena and the women’s initiative team, bonuses and incentives, public affairs initiatives, MyDec/MyEval, travel guidance, and Booster Club initiatives.
