Oct. 25 JTF-RH Unpacking Update

The unpacking operation will remove approximately one million gallons of fuel from three primary fuel pipelines connecting the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (RHBFSF) to fuel points on JBPHH. Joint Task Force Red Hill

Joint Task Force-Red Hill began unpacking of the F-24 fuel line today with the successful removal of approximately 93,000 gallons of fuel. The removed fuel will be stored on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and used by the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Joint Force. Tomorrow, the JTF expects to begin unpacking of the JP-5 fuel line.
