Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Pacific (NCTAMS PAC) is pleased to introduce Information Technician First Class Hunter Loeder!

Hello! My name is Petty Officer Hunter Loeder. I arrived at NCTAMS PAC in December of 2020. I have been recently assigned to be the Operations Department Joint Fleet Telecommunications Operations Center Leading Petty Officer and I am also a Command Fitness Leader.

As Facilities Control Office Leading Petty Officer, I coordinated and troubleshot with the Defense Information Systems Agency to ensure Enterprise network communication across the Indo-Pacific Area of Operations. I look over 1,000 high speed analog and digital data circuits that support over 250,000 subscribers. As the JFTOC Divisional Leading Petty Officer, I coordinate the daily operations and utilization of the Integrated Waveform and Joint MILSATCOM network integrated Ultra-High Frequency Satellite Communications systems. As Assistant Command Fitness Leader, I ensure that the command stays within PRT standards and lead command-wide fitness training. I also function as the command’s sports coordinator.

In my free time, you can find me on the grass field playing soccer or in the Pearl Harbor Gym playing volleyball. Lately, I’ve been in a soccer league, and I recently coordinated the winter volleyball tournament for NCTAMS PAC.

IT1 Loeder was recognized for outstanding performance of duty and extraordinary professionalism while serving at Task Group 1010.3 and Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific from April to June 2022, resulting in his selection as the “Junior Sailor of the Quarter” for the Third Quarter of Fiscal Year 2022. As Facilities Control Office Leading Petty Officer, his team completed 45 Enterprise Network Management System trouble tickets, processed 120 Authorized Service Interruptions, and ensured compliance of 10 Periods of Non-Disruption during high visibility Department of Defense directed tasks. He developed two new divisional Job Qualification Requirements for Primary Test Operator and Tactical Secure Gateway Operator to increase operational knowledge on the watch floor. As TAPLANS LPO, IT1 Leoder oversees the smooth operation of two UHF SATCOM systems that provide voice and data services to Joint and Coalition forces and ensures the promulgation of Commercial Satellite Access to Fleet Units. He also led 20 command Physical Training sessions and 20 Physical Readiness Tests.

Petty Officer Loeder demonstrates the warrior ethos that our Fleet needs today and well into the future. We are lucky to have him onboard. Bravo Zulu!
