Whether it’s your first or last day at Kunsan, you might have run into one of the Wolf Pack’s longest working custodians, Kwi Ye Yi, who’s dedicated many years to the Wolf Pack Lodge, the installation’s inn.

“We know this is the place that most Airmen have to stay when they first arrive in Kunsan, and we want them to have a good impression of the base,” Yi said.

The lodge services approximately six thousand guests per year and regularly stays above 80 percent occupancy. Out of all the members who help welcome newcomers and visitors, her boss notes that Yi stands out above the rest.

“She is always smiling for customers and coworkers,” said Mi Chu Kang, 8th FSS lodging operations manager. “With having seniority on the lodging team, she sets an example to the newer and younger employees.”

Yi has worked at the lodge for over 34 years and Kang added she never hesitates to help coworkers. She’s earned everyone’s love and respect.

“We always do our best to provide customer satisfaction, and in the process, our sense of fellowship becomes stronger,” Yi said. “It is always fun to work with such good colleagues as a team and share friendship with each other.”

With her many years of service to the Wolf Pack in the books, Yi is spending her final year at Kunsan surrounded by the peers she’s inspired.

“With one year left to work here, I hope she can enjoy her time,” Kang said. “On behalf of lodging team, we appreciate her. She is well-respected and will be missed when she retires. Thank you for being with us for the last 34 years.”
