Over 100 U.S. Army Rangers-in-training from the 5th Ranger Training Battalion out of US Army Fort Benning parachuted into the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, West Point Lake, on Friday, October 14th.
The exercise took two helicopters and 14 drops to complete while several boats and rafts in the water stood by for the recovery of the Soldiers after their descent.
Several agencies aided the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Soldiers during the military exercise, including the Georgia Department of Natural Resources - Georgia DNR, Troup County Sheriff's Office, and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
