DIYALA, Iraq — U.S. Soldiers are making an impact on Iraqi army soldiers at Forward Operating Base Warhorse, Iraq.
Soldiers from the Brigade Support Medical Company, 296th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division designed "Iraqi Medical Partnership Advisory Comprehensive Training," a new curriculum designed to train Soldiers from the 5th Iraqi Army Division to provide medical care to their fellow soldiers.
The class will include a variety of medical courses; comprised of advanced cardiac care, trauma burn management, and physical therapy.
The training will also teach the Iraqi soldiers how to use both the ultrasound and X-ray machine for diagnostic purposes.
"Overall, this whole program will have an enduring capacity for a better Iraq," said Cpt. Terrado, commander of the BSMC.
