April marks the beginning of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM), and our community is coming together to fight against sexual violence. To kick off the month, the 65th Medical Brigade participated in the SHARP Stomp, a symbolic ruck march that aims to raise awareness and create a culture that values respect and dignity for every Soldier, Civilian, and Family member.
The SHARP Stomp was a successful event that brought people together to show their support for the cause. The 65th Brigade Command Team also showed their commitment to preventing sexual assault and harassment by signing the SAAPM Proclamation. This act emphasized the collective commitment of the Brigade to this critical issue.
Throughout the month, we will host several events and activities to educate and engage our community in the fight against sexual violence. These events will create awareness and empower individuals to take action and speak out against sexual assault and harassment. Our goal is to create a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
Sexual assault and harassment are serious issues that affect people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. Therefore, it is important for everyone to be aware and take action to prevent it. We urge everyone to participate in the activities and events that we have planned for this month to show their support and stand against sexual violence.
