    SAVANNAH AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Ga. – The Air Dominance Center is excited to announce the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new fifth-generation aircraft hangar, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 16 at 10:00 a.m.

    The new hangar at the Air Dominance Center, also known as the Savannah Combat Readiness Training Center, represents a leap forward for the Air National Guard and Department of Defense, designed to accommodate the latest generation of aircraft and support cutting-edge training initiatives. Equipped with advanced maintenance facilities and technology, the hangar symbolizes the center's dedication to training the warfighters of America for potential conflicts of tomorrow.

    The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be attended by high-ranking officials, industry leaders, and community stakeholders. Distinguished speakers at the event will include U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Thomas Carden, the adjutant General of Georgia, U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Konata Crumbley, the commander of the Air National Guard and Col. Stephen “Tracker” Thomas, commander of the ADC. Their insights will shed light on the importance of the Air Dominance Center's mission and the role of the new hangar in shaping the future of the Air Force.
