    Story by Robert Penner

Army Maritime Standards and Safety Office

After many years of digging around for a decent light we stumbled across this light that was fielded by the US Navy. Luckily we came across it at the same time it was being fielded by the Navy, so life expectancy is great.
This light is small, bright, durable, and water activated. There are two attachment options: 1. a clip (recommended) 2. a lanyard. The lanyard is incredibly long and not recommended as the sole attachment option.
These lights can be ordered using NSN 6230-01-686-4184. Maintenance procedures can be found in TM 4-15.21
