KABUL, Afghanistan - An ISAF unit observed a group of individuals near the border in Eastern Afghanistan yesterday.
After positive confirmation that the group was insurgents, the ISAF patrol requested air support. Coalition aircraft dropped precision-guided munitions on insurgent locations. More than a dozen insurgents were reportedly killed.
No civilian casualties or property damage was reported.
