The 2023 Combine Federal Campaign officially started Sept. 1, 2023, and continues through Jan. 15, 2024.

The theme for this year is “Give Happy” and the 55th Wing’s goal is $55,000.

Donors have four ways to give: pledge online, complete a paper pledge form, the CFC Giving mobile app, or text “Donate” to 978-487-5678. Federal employees can also pledge volunteer hours to charities that accept them.

“Giving through the CFC is the ONLY way to leverage the easy payroll deduction to support your favorite cause, or charity,” said James Kernan, Office of Personnel Management subcontractor. “Just pledging $1 per pay period makes a huge difference. If all Wing employees pledged just $1 per pay period, we would quadruple our goal of 55K.”

The CFC is the only authorized solicitation of employees in the federal workplace on behalf of non-profit organizations. Federal employees can give to their local, national, and international agencies of their choosing.

Since its inception the CFC has raised nearly $8.7 billion for charities and people in need.

Unit CFC representatives are planning to make 100 percent contact with everyone on the base. Each volunteer will have information available that includes a list of eligible charities, information about the charity you may choose, and a paper pledge form.

“Giving back and helping people in need will enrich your life, familiarize you with your community and connect you to people and ideas that will positively impact your perspective for the rest of your life,” Kernan said. “Federal employees serve our nation and historically have a servant’s heart to help others in need and support their local communities.”

Individuals can give by payroll deduction or one time donation. To learn more about the ways to donate, visit https://givecfc.org/donors.
