HAYSVILLE, KS. - U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 451st Expeditionary Sustainment Command and U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 22nd Security Forces and the 22nd Engineer Squadrons participated in a parade during the Haysville Fall Festival in Haysville, Kansas on October 21st, 2023.
The 451st and the 22nd joined the parade to create bonds with the local community, support recruiting and proudly represent their branches.
The Festival Parade lineup began at 8 a.m. at the Haysville West Middle School and ended at the Haysville United Methodist Church.
The parade was part of the Haysville Fall Festival which was held from the 20th to the 22nd of October, 2023 and gave the community a chance to present their trades and celebrate the coming of Fall.
The parade allowed anyone to join, resulting in multiple groups ranging from the high school band, the fire department, owners of classical cars-to real estators and many others.
The spectators of the parade were entertained with the presentations of the participants and enjoyed picking up candy that was thrown for them.
