GOODFELLOW AIR FORCE BASE, Texas - U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Timothy Haugh, deputy commander of United States Cyber Command, toured Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, Oct. 10, 2023. This was Haugh’s first tour in a series of multiple visits to Air Education and Training Command bases to discover how USCYBERCOM can support training across the Air Force.

Haugh sat down with Angelo State University members to discuss the intelligence fields of the civilian and Department of Defense sectors to see how they can support each other's cyber security programs.

“What will it mean if a U.S. corporation is the target of a war,” Haugh asked. “Now we are strategically distributing more and more information at an unclassified level to combat this threat from multiple angles.”

Haugh also met with the 17th Training Wing joint leaders to discuss the improvement of intelligence training in the individual branches.

The visit concluded with a tour of the 17th TRW’s simulated austere environment, Joint All Domaine Exercise, Forward Operation Readiness Generation Exercise, to see how Goodfellow implements joint training to increase interoperability between the branches of service.
