VICENZA, Italy - U.S. Army Garrison, Italy hosted the Tactical and Technical Day Exposition at the Golden Lion Conference Center on Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy, November, 9, 2023.
The Exposition allowed technology companies to showcase their products by providing demonstrations, showcasing products that could aid units with communications, language translation, radar, big data analytics, workflow software, signal monitoring, and advanced structures on the African continent.
Capt. Jennie Fritch, the 522nd Military Intelligence Battalion (MIB) S6 officer in charge, understands the importance of Tactical and Technical Day. “We are always looking to modernize,” says Fritch, “and these Tactical and Technical days provide us with the latest technological advances that could help with our mission set.”
While the event aims to cultivate a network of mission-oriented partnerships, it also provides opportunities for individual members to develop professional relationships.
"It’s really important that we come out here and learn and see what they have to offer,” continues Fritch , “because we could be using the equipment here tomorrow.”
This is the second annual Tactical and Technical Day Exposition since Covid-19 restrictions were lifted.
