U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers who are looking to transfer to a different Troop Program Unit (TPU) can now search for vacancies geographically. The U.S. Army Reserve Vacancy Map lists openings in units across the country. Users can search by MOS, grade, command, zip code, and vacancy type.
The Vacancy Map is hosted on the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) SharePoint website (https://armyeitaas.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/USAR) and is available to any Soldier with a Common Access Card (CAC) enabled device or the Bring Your Own Device application.
This new tool can assist Reserve Soldiers who are looking for a closer battle assembly unit, or those relocating due to changes in their civilian career or personal life.
Once you have identified a unit with an opening you are interested in, contact your unit’s Career Counselor to discuss the next steps to filling that vacancy.
