U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — Exercise Native Fury 24 officially continues into the United Arab Emirates after a logistics convoy of more than 100 vehicles and 200 Marines successfully crossed the border from Saudi Arabia to the United Arab Emirates.

On May 8, 2024 the convoy of logistics vehicles and U.S. Marines from 2nd Marine Logistics Group, U.S. Army soldiers from 1st Theater Sustainment Command, and Saudi armed forces departed Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The convoy successfully traversed more than 2,000 kilometers using the Trans-Arabian Network that spans the peninsula. Throughout the convoy, U.S. and Saudi forces conducted bi-lateral training to strengthen interoperability and build readiness.

The convoy will continue its journey through the United Arab Emirates and will conduct bi-lateral training alongside soldiers in the United Arab Emirates armed forces. The convoy will conclude with the on-load of the Marines’ gear and equipment via commercial maritime shipping.

Native Fury 24 represents a significant milestone in the U.S. military's collaboration with the Royal Saudi Armed Forces and United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, demonstrating the positive outcomes of sustained cooperation.
