LINCOLN, Neb.—The 155th Air Refueling Wing hosted Active Duty fuels Airmen who worked with the Army Reserves and Air National Guard for a joint logistics exercise at the Nebraska Air National Guard base, June 5-7, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The U.S. Air Force joint training event with U.S. Army Reserve logistics forces provides military aviation fuel at a civilian airport to an Air Force Global Strike Command B-52 bomber, Air Mobility Command KC-135 and KC-46 tanker aircraft, and a C-130 aircraft from the Air National
    Guard, June 3-7, 2024.

“This exercise seamlessly fits into Nebraska Air National Guard priority of driving readiness and we are excited to be a participant,” said Col. Christopher Hesse, 155th Air Refueling Wing commander. “It is an outstanding opportunity for us and our joint partners.”

This joint logistics exercise provides a unique training opportunity for both Active and Reserve military forces to enhance readiness, joint operations, equipment interoperability, and communications.

“This exercise has showcased the impressive capability of our joint force to tackle the toughest scenarios,” said Col. Matthew Howard, 131st Bomb Wing deputy commander. “It has been awesome watching members of the Air Force, Air National Guard, and Army Reserves work so seamlessly to accomplish this mission and meet all the exercise objectives.”
