Now going through Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Thompson-Sexton is enthusiastic about his future in the military. Thompson-Sexton’s journey from a high school graduate unsure of his path to a dedicated Soldiers reflects the transformative power of mentorship within the Army.

Shonasky emphasized the end goal of joining the Army is worth all the training at the beginning.
