The groundbreaking project is a $100M dollar investment in the modernization of the powertrain engines assembly facility.
Construction will bring in jobs for locals from the city’s second largest employer. The Depot currently employs more than 3,000 employees, comprised of Army civilians, contractors, and active duty and reserve Soldiers.
This phased build of the Dynamic Components Repair Facility continues into 2032 with two future optional $100M expansions planned.
The Corpus Christi Army Depot is the U.S. Army’s premier organic industrial base for worldwide helicopter maintenance support. $800 million in annual revenue is generated through the continuous aviation repair and remanufacturing activities, in support of our Warfighters, Allied and Industry Partners and the Department of Defense.
