The Air & Space Forces Organization hosted military leaders, government officials and industry experts to advance the cause of air and space power during the Air, Space and Cyber conference in National Harbor, Maryland.

The theme for this year's event "Achieving Decisive Advantage in an Age of Growing Threats," guided participants through conversations about emerging challenges and strategic responses.

The annual conference, one of the largest gatherings focused on the aerospace, defense, and cyber sectors, features 300 booths and 40 sessions, to provide senior leaders from across the industry a unique opportunity to learn and network.

Defense Logistics Agency Energy’s Chief of Supplier Relations Division Ashleigh Johnson managed the agency's booth alongside DLA Energy Supplier Relationship Manager Marybeth Sandman. The booth provided an opportunity for the Supplier Relations Division to continue to build relationships with both current technologies and increase professional development,” Johnson said.

Sandman emphasized how much she learned from not only the other vendors, but the seasoned DLA employees she worked alongside.

The opportunity to talk with DLA Energy customers was an experience that I will do nothing but grow from,” Sandman said.

Johnson and Sandman promoted DLA’s mission by educating attendees about the agency's goals.

“The networking provided numerous benefits such as, access to expertise and resources, innovation, cost savings and efficiency, enhanced mission support, and increased agility, ” Johnson said. "The ability to connect with other organizations proved highly beneficial and opened new avenues for the agency."

The next Air, Space & Cyber Conference will be held Sept. 23-24, 2025.
