CAMP DAWSON, W. Va. – The Headquarters and Headquarters Company of the Support Group, 75th U.S. Army Reserve Innovation Command (SG 75 USARIC), recently gathered at Camp Dawson for an intensive annual training.
The unit focused on mission alignment, physical fitness, and weapons qualification with the M17 pistol. It also engaged in strategic planning to support the Command's ambitious goals for fiscal years 2025 and 2026. Soldiers took part in daily physical training, land navigation, weapons qualification and the Leadership Reaction Course to enhance their readiness and skills.
“Annual Training for us goes far beyond standard requirements—it’s about pushing boundaries and setting the pace for Army innovation,” said Col. Nicholas Dille, SG 75 USARIC commander. “Our goal is not just to keep pace but to set the pace, making sure that the 75th Innovation Command is best positioned to support a key priority to adapt, transform and modernize the Army and Army Reserve.”
Since its inception in 2018, SG 75 USARIC has focused on leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative thinking to address future military challenges. The unit’s detachments specialize in concentrations such as artificial intelligence, robotics, cyber warfare and medical bioengineering.
By combining rigorous physical training with strategic planning, the HHC is poised to provide essential support to the Command’s diverse, innovation-driven detachments.
