374th Security Forces Squadron Defenders responded to a simulated active shooter scenario during Exercise Beverly Morning 25-2 at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Mar. 4.
During the exercise, Defenders were charged with apprehending, securing, and then transporting a simulated active shooter suspect. Through training under high-stress conditions, Defenders can identify weaknesses, improve response times and reinforce procedures that are imperative to base safety and security.
