U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District

The 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Special Operations) (Airborne) Crisis Action Team 513 visited Bluestone Dam on March 26th in Hinton, WV.

The purpose of this tour was to increase the already diverse and experienced knowledge of CAT 513. During this tour, multiple employees within USACE Huntington District provided the team with information and hands-on training on how to operate a dam and to help them become more familiar with concrete.

95th Civil Affairs Brigade teams work with U.S. Department of State country teams, government and nongovernmental organizations at all levels and with local populations in peaceful, contingency and hostile environments. The knowledge gained from this visit will add more tools to the belts of these soldiers as they continue their mission worldwide.
