FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — In celebration of the Month of the Military Child, the U.S. Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights, conducted a demonstration jump into Alderman Road Elementary School on Wednesday.
Adding a personal touch to the day’s event, the demonstration was flown by CW2 James Martin, whose daughter— called “Hot Target”. Students and teachers gathered to watch the parachute team land on the school baseball field and immediately after to pack parachutes.
The event highlighted the strength, resilience and support of military-connected children while giving students a unique glimpse into Army aviation and parachuting.
