FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- On the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, Boy Scouts from Troop 40 came out to landscape the area around the memorial stones for the 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, N.C.
Eagle Scout, Jacob Netzel, 17 years-old, led the project to raise money and create the memorial walk for the 3rd Special Forces Group. He worked for several years raising money and pushing the paperwork through to receive permission to create the memorial which is now at its final stages. The dedication ceremony for the memorial will take place, Dec. 2.
