KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan – Eight members of the 579th Engineer Detachment received the Commander of Kandahar Airfield Commendation during a private ceremony held last night in Afghanistan.
Air Commodore Gordon Moulds, COMKAF, presented the award to the deployed FEST-M members for their hard work and dedication towards a technical engineering project completed for Kandahar Airfield.

• Capt. Christopher Ericson, Assistant Operations Officer
