    FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. -- Three people were injured Dec. 31 when a tornado touched down here at approximately 10 a.m.

    Currently, the mobile command post reports all three people were treated for minor injuries and released from the George Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital.

    No other injuries have been reported.

    Soldiers from the 92nd Military Police Battalion continue to work with local emergency response teams to conduct damage assessment and recovery measures.

    Families affected by the storm are encouraged to contact emergency personnel on the scene.
