MAZAR-E SHARIF, Afghanistan – German Army Maj. Gen. Hans-Werner Fritz hosted religious leaders from the Balkh province at RC-North headquarters for the second time Jan. 30.
The goal of the meeting was to continue the dialogue and transparency between the commander of RC-North and the local religious leaders.
“The meetings between these religious leaders are very important to me,” said Fritz. “Although this is only the second time we have all come together, I have found these meetings to be valuable and continue to learn a great deal. I respect the views and opinions of these leaders and I thank them for sharing their knowledge with me.”
