FORT LEONARD WOOD, Mo. – In conjunction with the U.S. Army Engineer Regimental Conference known as Enforce, the Army Engineer Association is sponsoring the 2011 Industry Exhibition at Nutter Field House, April 6-7. Exhibits will be open to the public Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon, inside and outside of Nutter Field House.
According to Command Sgt. Maj. (Retired) Julius Nutter, Army Engineer Association, “One of the primary benefits of bringing exhibits to Fort Leonard Wood is to provide an opportunity for companies to display their current and future goods and services to senior leadership, soldiers, and civilian employees of the Engineer Regiment.”
Nutter said, “Vendors can use the exhibition to solicit feedback and ideas from soldiers who have used their equipment to find solutions for current and future equipment and technology.”
About 100 companies come to Fort Leonard Wood during Enforce. They set up at Nutter Field House, inside and outside, and the displays represent the future of earth moving equipment, of military engineering, geospatial—terrain type technology for mapping, and more.
Kids are welcome, but must be supervised at all times.
The event is free and open to the public.
