CAMP COURTNEY, OKINAWA, Japan -- Sgt. David Pennington, a Berea, Ky. native, and approximately 20 other service members with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, currently deployed to Fallujah, Iraq, received the opportunity to see and speak with family members here via video teleconferencing New Year's Day.
Pennington was able to see the newest member of his family, 5-day-old David Edward II, in real-time along with his wife Tami, daughter Madison and son Schyler.
