MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE BARSTOW, Calif. - “Car wash! Get your car washed” was heard by Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow employees and residents during the afternoon of May 22.
Volunteers held signs and waved passing cars to come on in, to get their car washed for a small donation of $10. Funds raised during the
event will go toward the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow 237th Marine Corps Birthday Ball celebration.
The hard work and determination paid off for the Marines, as they were able to raise more that $270 in donations during the event.
The next car wash the Marines with MCLB Barstow will be hosting is scheduled for June 5, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Bldg. 322. This time
it will be a car wash and BBQ to raise more funds for the ball. While vehicle owners wait for their cars to be cleaned, they can enjoy a
tasty hamburger and refreshing beverage.
