FORT MCCOY, Wis. - Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Bryan B. Battaglia, the senior non-commissioned officer of the U.S. Armed Forces and senior enlisted advisor to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, paid a visit to Fort McCoy during the 2012 Combat Support Training Exercise.
Battaglia visited tactical assembly area (TAA) Cranberry during his visit. While at TAA Cranberry, he spoke with several Soldiers about the ongoing operations. Battaglia was filled in on everything ranging from laundry to security operations.
After the visit to TAA Cranberry, Battaglia traveled via Black Hawk to the Paralegal Warrior Training Course to watch class 001, which was split between two platoons, compete. After both platoons ran the course, the best warrior from each platoon was selected to compete in a head to head competition. After a pep talk from Battaglia, the competitors began.
The competitor from 2nd Platoon won, but Battaglia awarded both of them with his personalized coins.
