    3d Medical Command Deployment Support

SUWANEE, Ga. - Capt. Walter Level is a bodybuilder and member of 3rd Medical Deployment Support Command. He is scheduled to compete in the top five professional Super Natural Bodybuilding Competition at Collinsville High School in Suwanee, Ga. The prejudging event will be held at 9 a.m and finals are at 6 p.m. Nov. 3, 2012.

Competitors focus on healthy lifestyle programs, physical fitness activities, personal empowerment sessions, and spiritual coaching through workshops, seminars and competitions.

"You have to curtail your junk food cravings. My diet actually consists of high protein but I moderate my carbohydrates and fats. I keep my fats relatively low but I do need dietary fats, so I make sure that I get it from mainly from my lean red meats and chicken. Carbs can go high on certain days and low on others," said Level.

The SNBF organization is drug-free program for athletes. They believe the natural athlete should have a fair place to compete.

"Water is a big factor when it comes to training for an event like this, you have to take in a lot of water. I take in any where between a gallon and a half to two gallons a day," reported Capt. Level.

The winners in the Open Men, Masters Men, Open Women Bodybuilding and Open Figure Classes will compete for the overall placing and will be awarded a SNBF Pro Card.

"My best advice to encourage a younger soldier is to take it gradually, do not rush it, do not feel that you have to resort to taking performance enhancing drugs like steroids, testosterone, or things of that nature. Those things can actually shorten your lifespan. It can cause a lot of health problems. Your don't need that! Delay gratification. I didn't get to this point, in mere years. I've been doing this for over twenty-years. So it's going to take a while. I would say be patient and the results will come. Your strength will come, and you'll appreciate it a lot more. You will be able to have enough longevity that you actually will be able to exist until you're 60 or 70 years old," said Capt. Level during his recent interview.

All athletes are required to take and pass a five-year drug test (polygraph and/or urine), purchase the SNBF Organization Card and pay the contestant entry fee for each competition.
