HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Soldiers from the Hot Springs, Ark., area gathered with family and leadership for a send-off ceremony Sunday, Nov. 5, 2012.
The Engineer soldiers trained from May 4-26. According to the most recent publication from the 416th Theater Engineer Command, "The Bridge," training was geared towards conducting missions in a complex environment that included irregular warfare and nation state aggression.
The 704th heads to Fort Bliss, Texas, for further training prior to a deployment to a future assignment in the Afghanistan theater of operation.
