Cpl. Luis Agostini is from Chesapeake, Virginia. After graduating high school June 2020, he reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island for recruit training May 2021.
Shortly after completing recruit training and Marine Combat Training, Agostini reported to the Defense Information School at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, to complete Military Occupational Specialty training. Shortly after graduating from DINFOS September 2022, he reported to Marine Corps Installations - West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, billeted as a Combat Videographer.
Agostini returned to DINFOS in 2023 to attend the Intermediate Motion Media Course, graduating January 2024.
Agostini reported to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit January 2024, where he currently serves. Shortly after, he deployed with the 15th MEU aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) as part of WESTPAC 24.1 from June to November 2024.
Agostini's personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2), the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal (1), the National Defense Service Medal (1), the Korea Defense Service Medal (1), and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (1).
