Lance Cpl. Tommy Bellegarde takes the title of DVIDS Journalist of the Month because his lens produced several of the most popular images during March. Bellegarde captured action images of Operation Moshtarak as a member Regimental Combat Team-7, 1st Marine Division Public Affairs. <br />
Not only did Bellegarde's work produce the DVIDS Top Photo of the Month, his other photos dominated the list of the most popular images.<br />
Just three of his image galleries in March generated more than 6,800 web site views and eleven placements. <br />
The timeliness of Bellegarde's images is also a key reason they made the list of the most popular images. For example, Bellegarde's photo that was named the DVIDS Top Photo was submitted within a day of being taken, which was still during the wave of interest in Moshtarak. <br />
