Jayme Thomas Pastoric was born on 9 September 1981, in Cleveland, OH. Upon graduating from Chardon High School in 1999, he enlisted in the United States Navy on July 4th, 1999 and attended Boot Camp in Great Lakes, Illinois.
In September 1999, he graduated from Photographers Mate “A” School and received orders to USS John C. Stennis (CVN74).
In July 2004, he was selected to attend Syracuse University under the DoDs photojournalism program. After completing the 15 month program he selected orders to the Marketing and Advertising branch of the Navy Recruiting Command in Millington. There he worked with the a team responsible for events promoting recruiting outreach at NASCAR, ESPN X-GAMES, NCAA, Fleet Weeks and multiple TV and movie productions.
Opting for an IA deployment, he selected orders to JTF Guantanamo Bay Cuba where he worked with the team responsible for documenting detainee operations and facilitating relations with news outlets during the 2009 military commissions of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
December 2009 he selected orders to Expeditionary Combat Camera based in Norfolk. There he deployed with MDSU2, MDSU1, NSWG2-ST2, and EODMU2.
February 2013 reported to Center for Personal and Professional Development as Deputy Public Affairs Officer. There he earned his MTS and provided PAO support to satellite commands and across CONUS.
March 2015 he reported as the OIC for American Forces Radio Diego Garcia. He also was tapped to fill in as base PAO during a five month gapped billet.
In February of 2016, he reported to Naval Special Warfare Group TWO.
Married to Erin Pastoric of Memphis, TN and father to sons Dean and Davis. They currently reside in in Virginia Beach, VA.
