Tech. Sgt. Jessica Avallone is a United States Air Force Public Affairs Craftsman with the 501st Combat Support Wing Public Affairs office, RAF Fairford, England. In her geographically separated unit, she is responsible for providing investigative photographic support, portrait photography and generating articles, videos and photos of ground and air operations which facilitate strategic communication of the 501st CSW mission to external and internal audiences. Sergeant Avallone enlisted in the Air Force in January of 2014 and her background includes various duties in the public affairs career field. Those roles include NCOIC of media operations, webmaster of 200+ USAF websites, 9C qualified aerial photographer and morning radio DJ. Sergeant Avallone has documented operational and humanitarian assistance missions in several locations while also completing overseas tours in Turkey, Germany, Japan and England.
