AIRMAN FIRST CLASS DONALD C. KNECHTEL
Airman 1st Class Donald C. Knechtel is a photojournalist with the 28th Bomb Wing Public Affairs office at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D. Airman Knechtel is responsible for producing and publishing print stories and photographs in support of Ellsworth AFB, highlighting the efforts of more than 3,800 service members and Department of Defense civilian employees.
Airman Knechtel was raised in Plainfield, Ill., and entered the Air Force in April 2015. He then attended the Basic Photojournalist Course at Fort Meade, Md., graduating in November 2015.
