I grew up in New Orleans and attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in visual arts and graphic design. I enlisted in the Coast Guard in 2012, worked as a fireman at a Coast Guard station in Rhode Island, then served as a public affairs specialist in Portsmouth, Virginia. Through the advanced education program, I attended San Diego State University from 2019 to 2021, graduating from the School of Journalism and Media Studies with a master's degree in communication. Since then, I've served as the supervisor of Coast Guard Public Affairs Detachment Texas in Houston.
My technical specialties include graphic design, painting, photography, writing, and editing. I am a skilled strategic communicator, researcher, and team builder.
