Lt. j.g. Bryan Blair is a native of western Pennsylvania, enlisting in the Navy in 2006 as a Photographer's Mate. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Thomas Edison State University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from National University. He achieved the rank of Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class before commissioning as a public affairs officer (1650) through Officer Candidate School in August 2021.
Blair’s assignments as a Mass Communication Specialist included USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65), USS DENVER (LPD 9), Chief of Naval Operations (N3/N5), Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, and USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76). After commissioning, he reported to Commander, Naval Air Forces, serving as assistant public affairs officer from January 2022 to August 2023. He currently serves as public affairs officer, Naval Support Activity Bahrain.
