Staff Sgt. Jerreht Harris enlisted in the Air Force in August 2016 as a Broadcast Journalist, arriving at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., March 2017. During his time at Cannon, SSgt. Harris created multimedia content that brought awareness to real issues faced by Airmen, such as mental health. He has highlighted AFSOC mission capabilities demonstrated through numerous exercises and presented quality products that MAJCOM leadership uses to analyze strengths and weaknesses. In August 2019, SSgt. Harris was assigned to Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, with AFN Kunsan as a broadcast producer and Radio D.J. During the COVID-19 outbreak, SSgt. Harris produced content that highlighted the myriad ways Kunsan Air Base responded to the increased health threat, creating products that PACAF and INDOPACOM leadership could use on social media to raise awareness. SSgt. Harris returned to the United States with the 1st Combat Camera Squadron at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., August 2020. In October 2021, SSgt Harris deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, where he covered aerial operations across the AOR. The imagery he produced from Bomber Task force missions in UAE, to AFSOC combat missions from of Al Udeid and Kuwait, provided critical messaging for the Combined Air Operations Center, highlighting the partnership the United States is committed to supporting with allies in the region.
