    Staff Sgt. Michael Eaddy enlisted in the Army October 8th, 2009. He attended basic combat training at Fort Benning, Georgia. After basic training, he attended advanced individual training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland where he was awarded the MOS 91B (Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic). Soon after AIT graduation he was stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. While stationed on Fort Riley he was deployed to his first combat zone in Kirkuk Iraq where he served with the Base Defense Operations Center platoon where, as a Specialist, he was the 1st squad’s team leader, RTO and the Tactical Automated Security System operator the entirety of his 12-month deployment. He was then reassigned to South Korea. While there he was stationed on Camp Hovey where he was promoted to Sergeant and was named squad leader and the NCOIC for the GSE section as a 91B. After his 12-month tour in Korea he was stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia. While on Stewart he was 1st platoon-1st squad leader, UPL, battalion BOSS Representative, HEAT Trainer, barracks NCOIC, and the battalion HAZMAT Representative. While there he completed three overseas tours to Germany for RAF I, II, III, and one tour to Poland for ANAKONDA16. Early 2017 he attended the Defense Information School at Fort Meade, Maryland where he was then awarded the MOS 46Q (now 46S). After graduation from DINFOS he was then stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. While on Bliss he had a tour to Fort Bragg, North Carolina for media relations during the Bergdahl trial, he was deployed to San Juan, Puerto Rico to cover the disaster relief effort after hurricane Maria, and to Poland for a nine-month rotation for Atlantic Resolve where he created a commercial product highlighting Poland’s first multi-national joint training exercise for AFN. He also coordinated with CBS for a Super Bowl live feed to highlight the Soldiers during the game, he produced a female Soldier feature for ABC News, and was the military photographer for the 100th celebration of the Greater Poland Uprising early 2019. Mid 2019 he was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he was the PAO NCOIC from 2019-2023. He was responsible for advising the PAO, managing all unit social media pages, responsible for content collection and the production of unit specific stories, photos, videos, graphic designs, and the creation of internal and external information regarding 3BCT. He escorted media personalities such as Tim Tebow from ESPN and reporters from Business Insider. He completed a deployment to the Sothern border in support of CBP where his most substantial project was a capabilities video of the joint operations across the U.S. Southern border, he served as the PAO briefly, he conducted two Division Training Density’s, two JRTC rotations, and revamped unit specific graphic designs for social media and internal use. His military education includes WLC, ALC, SLC, UPL, HAZMAT Certifier, HAZMAT Driver, Field Sanitation, EOL and Master Driver.
