BIOGRAPHY
Senior Airman Tessa Blake Corrick is a photojournalist assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing, at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. Corrick has served two years and within that time she has documented nuclear exercises, a hurricane evacuation and multiple distinguished visitors at Barksdale. She is currently deployed to RAF Fairford, England, in support of U.S. Strategic Command’s Bomber Task Force in Europe.
Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, she enlisted in the Air Force upon graduating from Stark State Community College to further her educational goals as a first-generation Airman. Prior to the Air Force, she had no photojournalism experience. “I didn’t know what to expect at first, but now I am so grateful. Being able to meet and explore other career fields and tell their stories is definitely the most rewarding aspects of my job.”
