Seaman Apprentice Manuel Najera is a mass communication specialist assigned to the Defense Media Activity at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. He produces photos, videos and print stories as part of Image Acquisition in support of the Secretary of the Navy’s strategic communication goals. Seaman Apprentice Najera coordinates with Sailors from around the fleet to tell the Navy’s story, from their perspective, to a worldwide audience.
Prior to assuming his current assignment on the Image Acquisition staff, he completed the Basic Mass Communication Specialist Course at the Defense Information School.
