Born and raised in Puerto Rico. After finalizing my bachelor's degree in video production in 2016 I joined the Coast Guard. Currently, a public affairs specialist stationed in the Coast Guard 7th District public affairs detachment Tampa Bay.
I started my public affairs path as a non-rated member covering personnel gaps on the Coast Guard 7th District public affairs office in Miami. While performing at the district office I had the opportunity to respond to Hurricane Dorian in 2019 as the public affairs source for the response.
During that period I had been able to work to multiple operations through my career as Operation Pax Defender, Operation CASNET II, Trade Winds, and Full Court Press.
I have been participating in multiple deployments such as hurricane responses, migrant interdictions, rescues, and multiple anti-narcotic operations also working along with organizations such as U.S. Army Southern Command, Royal Bahamas Defense Force, and DHS Joint Task Force East.
As a public affairs specialist, my goal is to overcome new operational challenges on the rate and tell our Coast Guard story.
