BIOGRAPHY
Airman 1st Class Katelin Britton is a broadcast journalist assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing, at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. As part of the Tier 2 Production Center, Airman Britton is responsible for creating photo and video content to educate the public on the Air Force Global Strike Command mission. She has led and been a part of teams during the documentation of multiple hurricane evacuations to Barksdale, as well as nuclear exercises. Britton grew up in the small-town of Tom Bean, Texas. From an early age her grandpa, who was a fighter pilot during the Vietnam War, inspired her to enlist. She is a 2015 Graduate of Tom Bean High School and attended Grayson College before joining the Air Force in November of 2017. “I thought public affairs would be a ‘normal’ job. It’s not a job though, it’s an experience."
