U.S. Army Soldier Sgt. Vail Forbeck is a Public Affairs Communication Specialist for the Pennsylvania National Guard.
Forbeck is organic to the 109th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment. She serves as the noncommissioned officer in charge (NCOIC) on a Continental United States (CONUS) mission with the 55th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade.
During her military career, Forbeck has received several awards, including Soldier of the Year, honors upon completing Basic Training, the Physical Fitness Award, and the Army Achievement Medal.
Forbeck is committed to furthering her education; she completed her Ph.D. in Communication in 2023 at Liberty University. She also holds an M.S. in Communication from Shippensburg University and a B.A. in Literature.
