Staff Sgt. Brahim Z. Douglas was born on March 9, 1997 in Christiansted, U.S.V.I., and graduated from Chamberlain High School in 2015. He then enlisted in the Army as a Human Resource Specialist on January 3rd, 2018, completing Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training in May 25, 2018. Staff Sgt. Douglas was then stationed at Fort Drum, New York where he had the opportunity to reclass to a Public Affairs Mass Communication Specialist. He graduated from the Defense Information School on April 16, 2021. Sergeant Douglas is now stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas as part of the 24th Theater Public Affairs Support Element, Media Operations team. During this time, he has held positions of Team Leader, Squad leader, Master Fitness Trainer, Unit Prevention Leader and H2F Facilitator. He has participated in various operations, exercises and events such as Operation Allies Welcome, III Armored Corps Warfighter 23-4, Cadet Summer Training 2023, Project Convergence -Capstone 4 and the 75th annual North Atlantic Treaty Organization Summit. His awards include four Certificates of Achievement, two Army Achievement Medal, two Army Commendation Medal and the Armed Forces Service Medal.
